Alaska Chapter, NSDAR
Fairbanks, Alaska

The National Society Daughters of the American Revolution (NSDAR or DAR), is a non-profit non-political volunteer women's service organization founded in 1890 by a group of patriotic women. The DAR is dedicated to promoting patriotism, preserving American history, and securing America's future through better education for children.

Welcome to Alaska Chapter, NSDAR
Yes! There IS a DAR Chapter in Fairbanks!

Fairbanks, known as the "Golden Heart City", is located over 300 miles north of Anchorage, making Alaska Chapter, NSDAR, the farthest North chapter in the United States. Our members come from all over the Fairbanks North Star Borough, Fort Wainwright, Eielson Air Force Base and beyond. We are one of five chapters in the Alaska Society, DAR. Whenever possible, we hold meetings by Zoom to accommodate members who cannot attend in person.

Chapter meetings usually take place on the third Thursday every month, from September through May.

For more information about us
contact any officer. If you are interested in becoming a member of our chapter, please send your contact information to our chapter registrar.
